MOU between Nawaloka Hospital PLC and ICBT Campus

Two Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed between Nawaloka Hospital PLC and the International College of Business and Technology (ICBT) Campus at ICBT on 9th May 2023. The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa, Chairman of Nawaloka Hospital PLC; Dr. Sampath Kannangara, Executive Dean/Chief Executive Officer of ICBT Campus; Prof. L.G. Chandrasena, Director/General Manager of Nawaloka Hospital PLC; Mr. G.A. Varghese, Biomedical Engineer; Mr. Sudantha Senevirathne, Executive Training, and Development; Dr. V. Abhayasinghe, Consultant/Senior Lecturer; Mrs. S. Ratnayaka, Principal, School of Nursing; Mr. T.K. Bopage, Nursing Officer/Coordinator represented Nawaloka Hospital PLC.

Representatives from ICBT included General Manager: Mr. Sampath Perera, Chief Academic Officer; Mr. Chandramohan Sandrasekaran, Chief Financial Officer; Mrs. Uthpala Hansani, Deputy General Manager:Mr. Hareen Jaywardena, Senior Manager; Mr. Shaliak Caldera, and Quality Assurance Officer; Mrs. Yodunika Senevirathne.

These MOUs will enable ICBT Biomedical Engineering students to receive specialized practical and placement training through Nawaloka Hospital PLC, and Nawaloka Nursing Diploma students to progress and complete their undergraduate Nursing degree at ICBT Campus offered through its UK partner university
