The fourth-largest export market to Sri Lanka, the IT industry, contributes significantly to the nation’s economy. Employees are the backbone of every IT organization, same as they are in any other industries. Therefore, keeping them on staff for a long period would benefit the various organizations both financially and non-financially. This study’s goal is to investigate and examine the factors that influence employee turnover in Sri Lanka’s IT sector. With the help of the questionnaire, data was gathered, and data was analyzed mainly using SPSS. According to the findings, satisfactory managerial practices and an adequate level of compensation and benefits have a major role in determining employee turnover in the IT industry. When compared to the effects of compensation, benefits, and managerial practices, job satisfaction and work-life balance have a lower contribution for Employee turnover in Sri Lankan IT industry.
