Profile

Irushi has been working at ICBT since 2021 lecturing in the field of Biomedical Engineering. After completing her degree in Biomedical Engineering she worked in the research sector and was employed for about a year before joining ICBT.

Irushi is currently a module leader and internal verifier and has taught on a number of undergraduate modules at ICBT in various programs. She is currently teaching,

Biophysics and Instrumentation
Cell Biology and Human Physiology
Introduction to Biomedical Engineering for HD students
Physics for foundation students

She is also a member of the research committee under the Faculty of Engineering and Construction for the Annual International Research Symposium (AIRS). Within ICBT, Irushi’s research interests are in the field of assistive technology, biomechanics and health.
