Profile
Ruwan has been working at ICBT since 2011 lecturing in the field of Electrical Engineering. He completed a bachelor’s degree in BEng (Hons) Electronics and Communication Engineering & MSc in Optoelectronics and Communication Engineering from Northumbria University in Newcastle Upon Tyne – North England united kingdom. After completing his studies Ruwan joined ANOVO -UK in Scotland one of the largest electronic service companies in Europe as a Service Engineer. Before joining ICBT Ruwan worked in the local industry also. And also he is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA –UK)
Ruwan has taught many undergraduate modules at ICBT in various programs. He is currently teaching Signals and Systems, Control Systems, Instrumentation and Control, Principles of Electrical and Electronics, Electromechanical Energy Conversion, Biomedical Signal Processing, and Digital Signal Processing.
Ruwan is the Founder of the Biomedical Engineering program at ICBT.
