Factors affecting the lead-time issues in CAPEX projects of the manufacturing factories based in the Colombo District.

The research is about identifying and understands the factors affecting the lead time issues in CAPAX projects. Objectives of the study are To Identify the Factors affecting the lead-time issues in CAPEX projects of the manufacturing factories based in the Colombo District and to analyze the identified factors to bring down the necessary recommendations, in order to gather information a sample size of 200 is selected from the population for the easiness of data gathering. The sample being selected in this manner is selected based on random sampling method and the researcher aims at providing a questionnaire for all the 200 members or employees representing the sample. 173 questioners were selected for the analysis. Inventory control issues Logistics related delays planning delays, purchasing related delays, other delays and Budgeting and funding issues are the selected factors. All the factors have a positive strong correlation and all are significant with the dependent variable.
