Chamila Attanayake

Chamila has been working at ICBT since 2009 lecturing in the field of Information Technology.  After completing her degree as the Bachelor of Information Technology at University of Colombo, she worked as a lecturer for several leading higher educational institutions for about five years before joining ICBT.  She also completed the Master of Science Degree in Information Technology of Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.

Chamila is currently working as the Head of Academics of Undergraduate Department, ICBT Campus-Nugegoda and has taught on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate modules at ICBT in various programs. She functions as a module leader and an internal verifier for some of the undergraduate programs. She currently teaches,

Moreover, she supervises undergraduate research projects. Chamila is also an Associate Fellowship Member of the Higher Education Academy (UK). She is a member of the Technical Committee of ICBT Annual International Research Symposium. And also she is a member of Curriculum Development Committee of ICBT. She is a member of the Senate of The ICBT Campus. Chamila is also a member of the ICBT Quality Assurance Audit Team and representing the academic Department.

Chamila’s research interests are Requirement Engineering, Technology Adoption, Business Information Systems, Professional, Ethical, Social and Legal Issues in IT.
