Students of Business Management (Batch – 100) in ICBT Colombo Campus, complete a project by providing requested library chairs to Homagama Maha Vidyalaya – Homagama, where 200+ students learning from grade 01 to grade 11.
There was a shortage of chairs to the existing library, and school unable to funded due to current economic condition of the country. Therefore, Business Management (Batch – 100) students respond to the request sent by principal of the school and purchase requested chairs.
It took two months to finish the project. Students of Business Management (Batch – 100) carried out various fundraising activities such as Food stalls, Selling ICBT logo stickers and Class carnival to collect necessary fund requirement of the project while the balance requirement given by the ICBT campus with the help of transporting chairs from the warehouse to venue.
