Deloosha Abeysooriya

Deloosha has been working at ICBT since 2009 lecturing in the field of IT.  After completing his degree in BCS, he worked in the IT sector and was employed for about Seven years before joining ICBT.  He completed the Master of Science Degree in Information Systems.

Deloosha is currently the Head of Academics ICBT Southern and has taught on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate modules at ICBT in various programmes.  He is currently teaching,

• System Analysis
• Business Information System
• Database Design and Development
• Professional Practice
• Software Engineering Project
• Fundamentals of Programming
• Object Oriented Programming
• Data Structures and Algorithms
• Business Information Research Module
• Software Engineering Dissertation Project Module and Research Methods.

Deloosha is also a Charted IT Professional Member – Charted Institute of IT, Member of BCS and a Member of Sri Lanka Computer Society of the Sri Lanka Computer Society. Within ICBT, Deloosha is a member of the Research Technical Committee of ICBT Annual International Research Symposium. And also, he is a member of Programme Development Committee of ICBT. He is a member of the Senate of The ICBT Campus.  Deloosha’s research interests are in the field of Education Management, Image processing and Business Information Systems

He is currently undertaking a PhD in the field of Education Management.​​
