Gihan has been working at ICBT since 2009 lecturing in the field of IT. After completing his degree in BSc in IT he worked in the software industry and was employed for about 3 years before joining ICBT. He has obtained MSc in Computer science from the University of Peradeniya.
Gihan is currently working in the capacity of a Senior lecturer (Grad II) and also the module leader for Computational intelligence, Computational thinking, Service-oriented computing, and software engineering dissertation and has taught many undergraduate and postgraduate modules at ICBT in various programmes. He is currently teaching Computational thinking, Mobile application development, Web application development, Service-oriented computing, Database design and development, Building for Web, Research methods, Team software development, Mobile and Web Technologies, Software engineering, and Business information systems dissertation.
