Kalananthan Sivarajah

Kalananthan has been working at ICBT since 2013 joined ICBT lecturing in the field of Construction. After completing his degree in BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. He worked in the local and foreign country in the construction sector and was employed for about five years before joining ICBT. He also completed his Master of Business Administration in Project Management and Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.

Kalananthan is currently the Head of Department Quantity Surveying and Acting Head of Faculty for Engineering & Construction and has taught the number of undergraduate and postgraduate modules at ICBT in various programmes. Kalananthan is also an Associate Fellow Membership of the Higher Education Academy (UK) and Individual Membership of the PMI (USA). Within ICBT, Kalananthan is a member of the Academic Senate and research committee and the new programmes development committee. 

Kalananthan’s research interests are in the field of Construction technology including Building Information Modeling/ Artificial Intelligence, construction cost management, and control.
