Mohamed Shafeer

Mohamed Shafeer has been working at ICBT from 2011 to till now at ICBT Kandy Campus by lecturing in the field of  IT. He has completed his Master’s degree with a MERIT in Strategic Marketing and he has completed his Bachelor’s degree with Hons in International Information Technology Management in the UK after he completed his degree he started to work for ICBT Kandy Campus as a lecturer and now he has been promoted to Senior Lecturer Grade – II  and before joining ICBT Kandy he was employed at BCAS Kandy campus as an Assistant IT Administrator, Lecture and Lab Facilitator for two years.  

Mohamed Shafeer is currently the Program Leader for Diploma in communication technology, and module leader for Cyber security, he is an internal verifier for a few modules and he is currently teaching several modules for undergraduate and Diploma at ICBT and a few other modules for other various programs. He is currently teaching

• Computer Networks
• Cyber Security
• Diploma in Communication Technologies

Within ICBT Network, Mohamed Shafeer is a member of the new program development committee, He is the Lecturer in charge of the ICBT Kandy campus Student council and for the ICBT Kandy Campus Cricket club. Mohamed Shafeer’s research interests are in the field of Computer networks, Cyber Security, IT Audit, and IoT vulnerabilities.
