Telecom industry is complex and competitive; telecom projects are massive and complex in nature. The telecom provider has a great importance to the economic and social life. To deliver a successful technologies and services to end user and ensure the revenue of company, projects need to be executed and completed within scope, schedule, cost and quality. The objective of the study is to investigate the factors that impact project success of telecom projects in one of leading ICT solution provider in Sri Lanka. The research hence emphasizes the need to understand effective project management as an area of management in which various players share the responsibility for its initiation, planning, design, executing, monitoring, and closing.
