Thisaru Weerasiri

Thisaru has been working at ICBT since 2022 lecturing in the field of Engineering.  After completing his degree in Bachelor of Engineering Technology Hons in Automobile Technology he worked in the education sector and was employed for about 07 months before joining ICBT.  

Thisaru is currently the module leader and has taught on a number of undergraduate modules at ICBT in various programmes.  He is currently teaching Hybrid and electrical vehicle technology, Economics of automotive systems and value

Engineering, Information & Communication Technology, Electrical machines and drives and Energy science and applications. Thisaru is also an Assistant Lecture of the ICBT. Within ICBT, Thisaru’s research interests are in the field of Hybrid Vehicles, Vehicle Chassis Design & Automobile systems in Automotive Engineering.
He is currently undertaking a HD in Automotive Engineering.​​
