BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering

The BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering program is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills essential for a professional career in mechanical engineering.

Students focus on core areas including Engineering Dynamics & Thermofluids, Mechanical Design & Material Selection, Manufacturing Systems Design, and Professional Engineering Management Techniques, while also undertaking a Design Project that integrates theoretical knowledge with real-world engineering applications. The curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, innovation, and the application of engineering principles to design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems, preparing graduates to meet the challenges of modern engineering industries effectively.

• Higher Diploma (HD) / National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering

Graduates of Mechanical Engineering in Sri Lanka have diverse career opportunities.
