  • City and Guilds Level 5 Advanced Technician Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Students with a Higher Diploma or an Higher National Diploma (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar will be considered via individual RP(E)L applications for entry onto the programme. OR Other recognized local qualifications that will be individually assessed in consultation with the Link tutors.

  English Language requirements:
  • Grade C or above C pass in GCE Ordinary Level Examination OR 
  • ICBT Academic English Studies OR 
  • IELTS 6.0 overall with no component below 5.5, taken within two years of the course start date or equivalent

Graduates of the BEng (Hons) Mechatronics and Autonomous Systems degree are well-positioned to enter Sri Lanka’s growing technology and industrial sectors. Many find rewarding careers as Mechatronics or Automation Engineers, where they design, develop, and maintain advanced automated systems used in manufacturing, food processing, and packaging industries. Others pursue roles as Industrial Automation or Control Systems Engineers, specialising in the integration of PLCs, SCADA, and HMI technologies to optimise and control industrial processes. Certificate & Graduation

Upon successful completion of the programme, one certificate will be issued by LJMU and the graduation ceremony will be arranged in Sri Lanka by International College of Business and Technology.
