The BSc (Hons) top-up degree consists of five level 3 modules. All level three modules
are core modules and are not optional. The program provides a comprehensive foundation in psychological theory, research, and applied practice, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand human behavior across clinical, health, and forensic contexts. Students will develop competence in independent research design, data analysis, and the critical interpretation and dissemination of findings.
The curriculum introduces major clinical mental health disorders and evidence-based psychological interventions, with a particular focus on cognitive behavioral approaches and foundational counselling skills. In addition, students will explore key psychological theories underpinning health behaviors and behavior change, as well as the role of biopsychosocial factors in crime and desistance. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, ethical practice, appreciation of diversity and context, and reflective personal and professional development.
Completion of a Higher Diploma in Psychology (18 -24 month)
After completing the Bachelor's degree, students will have the option to follow MSc. in Psychology of Applied Behavior Change program, or any other Master's program accepted by the university based on prior qualifications and experience.

Opportunities are available within universities and colleges, as well as in roles such as psychosocial practitioners in hospitals, clinics, mental health centres, and counselling services. Graduates may also pursue careers within government human services organisations, schools and other educational settings, and within businesses and corporate environments where psychological knowledge is increasingly valued. In addition, career pathways extend to specialized settings such as prisons and the military, working with soldiers, veterans, and their families. This diverse range of opportunities reflects the program's strong emphasis on both theoretical knowledge and practical, transferable skills.
