The programme adopts an expanded definition of International Relations, encompassing subjects such as economics, politics, law, and culture, while also examining the actions of international organisations, nation-states, and non-state actors. It offers a solid grounding in international relations theory alongside a range of specialist modules that explore key global issues of enduring significance. These include conflict, the role of the United Nations, international affairs in the Asia-Pacific region, and the impact of humanitarian actions carried out by both state and non-state actors.
