The ICBT Campus Research Division successfully organized its first-ever in-person International Collaborative Research Conference, held in partnership with Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University (SJJTU), India, on May 23, 2025, at the ICBT Campus in Colombo. The conference was further supported by the Society of Science, Technology and Humanity, India, and J. Watumull Sadhubella Girls College, India.
The theme of the conference was “Innovative Ideas in the Fields of Science, Social Sciences, Management, and Humanities” (IISSSMH-2025). It provided an excellent platform for academics, undergraduates, and postgraduates to present their novel research findings to a global audience and gain international recognition. The online version of IISSSMH-2025 was conducted simultaneously by SJJTU, India, in parallel with the physical conference in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The ICBT Graduation 2025 was held on the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 21st of February 2025, at the BMICH premises. The event celebrated the accomplishments and academic success of the graduates, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.

ICBT Campus’ 7th Annual International Research Symposium (A I R S) 2024 call for papers has been initiated under the symposium theme “Innovating for a Resilient Future: Cross-Disciplinary Approaches to Global Challenges” under five major subject streams namely; Social Sciences, Engineering and Construction, Health Sciences, Business Management and Information Technology.
The symposium is organized with the patronage and leadership of the symposium chairperson and the CEO / Executive Dean ICBT Campus, Dr.Sampath Kannangara. The prestigious review panel of A I R S 2024 comprised of veteran esteemed panel of reviewers from local and foreign universities and high caliber professionals from diversified industries representing national and international corporations. A I R S 2024 is open for any local or foreign citizen who is interested in publishing his or her own research work to showcase their novel findings globally. ICBT Colombo campus BM 104 students complete a project by conducting a painting and renovation day at Seewali Vidyalaya – Borella. There are more than 300 students currently studying from grades 1 to 12 under lack of facilities and some threats. Color washing the smart classroom, installing a sound system, and replacing wall fans are some of the needs they have tried to accomplish via donors past years. BM 104 students respond to the need and purchase required paint and other materials. Further, students have identified that school was lacking certain furniture. Apart from paint and material, BM 104 students purchased cupboards and bookshelves to complete the project. It took three months to finish the project and students and the campus spent around Rs. 255,000/= to complete it. Students of BM 104 carried out various fundraising activities such as doing “Holly” event, organizing a musical event call “Thalakaasha” with famous artist if the county at “Nelumpokuna” Rooftop, selling ICBT wrist Bands, and DJ night call “Glowchella” to collect the necessary funds requirement of the project while the ICBT campus through the CSR budget gave the balance requirement.
