Master of Science in International Relations

Academic Requirements

A minimum of a 2:1 Honours degree (or equivalent) in a related subject such as Law, History, or Politics.

Applicants without a directly relevant degree may still be considered if they can demonstrate at least two years of relevant professional experience in an International Relations–related field and the ability to succeed at Master’s level.

Non-Standard Applications

Applications are welcomed from candidates with alternative qualifications or professional backgrounds who can provide evidence of relevant skills, experience, and commitment to the field of International Relations.

• Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Humanitarian Agencies – opportunities in advocacy, human rights, development aid, humanitarian relief, and peacebuilding initiatives.
• Research and Policy Institutes (Think Tanks) – analytical and advisory roles in global policy, security studies, and international development.
• Private Sector and Multinational Corporations – roles in global risk analysis, corporate social responsibility, and international business strategy.
• Media and Journalism – specialist reporting on global affairs, diplomacy, and international conflicts.
